Exercise, as we all know, plays an important role in our life. You may have heard time and time again: physical activity is good for you and you should make a small effort to get moving daily. Between spending time with loved ones, volunteering commitments, and doctor appointments, sometimes exercise is overlooked. While all of these things do matter, our physical ability should also be a priority.
At Walden Circle, our recreation team strives to provide our residents with options when it comes to getting fit!
Aquafit has now become one of our best attended programs and for many great reasons! Here are some of the benefits of Aquafit:
- The buoyancy and resistance of water allows you to use all your muscles, which helps improve overall muscle tone. This benefits older adults who may suffer from arthritis or osteoporosis.

- Lower blood sugar levels
- Lower blood pressure.
